Freshers’ Days Winter Semester 2024/2025

On Thursday, October 10th 2024, 10:00 and on Friday, October 11th, 15:30 the Fachschaft hosts Freshers’ Days for all Computational Linguistics freshers (Bachelor or Master). On Thursday, there will be a breakfast and a general introduction to the studies. On Friday, there will be the introduction to the technical infrastructure in which you should partake to get a Computational Linguistics Account (also, we will have dinner together in the Marstallmensa and visit a few of Heidelberg’s pubs).

We meet on Thursday at Im Neuenheimer Feld 306, Seminar Room 20 (often shorted to “INF 306, SR 20”). We marked the building down below on the map with a green pin. Once you are in INF 306, you should be able to find Seminar Room 20 using the signs from the university (it is situated on the first floor, or the second floor if you’re from the USA). We will also stick some arrows to the wall for you.

On Friday we will meet in a different building and in a cooler room: Im Neuenheimer Feld 325, Computer Pool (= CIP-Pool = ZIP-Pool).
