Freshers’ Days Summer Semester 2023

On Thursday, April 13th 2023, 10:00 and on Friday, April 14th, 15:30 the Fachschaft hosts Freshers’ Days for all Computational Linguistics freshers (Bachelor or Master). On Thursday, there will be a breakfast and a general introduction to the studies. On Friday, there will be the introduction to the technical infrastructure in which you should partake to get a Computational Linguistics Account (also, we will have dinner together in the Marstallmensa and visit a few of Heidelberg’s pubs).

We meet on Thursday at Im Neuenheimer Feld 306, Seminar Room 19 (often shorted to “INF 306, SR 19”). We marked the building down below on the map with a green pin. Once you are in INF 306, you should be able to find Seminar Room 19 using the signs from the university (it is situated on the first floor, or the second floor if you’re from the USA).

On Friday we will meet at Neuenheimer Feld 325, Computer Pool (= CIP-Pool = ZIP-Pool). We have marked the building with a blue pin on the map below.

If you want to participate, please write us a short (informal and non-binding) mail at erstitag@cl.uni-heidelberg.de, so we can get a ballpark estimate of how many will be there.
